Aldean wins third consecutive ACM trophy

Jason Aldean captured his third consecutive entertainer of the year trophy at the Academy of Country Music Awards.

Aldean says “it’s been a rough year,” referring to last October’s Route 91 Harvest Festival where a lone gunman killed 58 people at the country music event.

Aldean, who’d been performing onstage at the time of the massacre, closed his speech last night by saying he and other country musicians “love Las Vegas” and “Vegas Strong.”
