A “Grim” rescue

It was a “Grim” ending for a little girl northeast of Elmira.

Grim, a police dog, is credited for finding the three-year-old child yesterday (Thursday) in a Woolwich Township corn field.

Waterloo Regional Police say the girl was lost for about two hours before she was located with the help of Grim and his handler Marissa Zuliani.

The child was in the corn field during a very hot time of the day and was taken to hospital as a precaution.
