Bondar, Weston headline Guelph summit

Former Canadian astronaut Roberta Bondar (pictured) and Loblaw C-E-O Galen Weston will be among the speakers at a summit being held next week by the University of Guelph’s Arrell Food Institute.

The event will explore topics including transparency in food supply chains, Indigenous food sovereignty and robotics and A-I in agriculture.

Other speakers will include Sir Charles Godfray, a zoology professor and director of the Oxford Martin Programme on the Future of Food at Oxford University and Danil Kerimi, head of Information Technology and Electronics Industries at the World Economic Forum.

The summit will take place May 22nd to 24th in Guelph and Toronto.
