Boston rocked by gas explosions

A team of U-S National Transportation Safety Board investigators is going to be looking into the cause of a series of gas explosions in three Boston-area communities.

An 18-year-old man was killed yesterday afternoon when a chimney fell on his car.

It appears the explosions involved natural gas pipelines, and the N-T-S-B says its GO Team will look at the design of the pipeline system, any maintenance and upgrades, and the safety record of the pipeline operator.
