Brant County’s towns and villages are holding special services to mark the anniversary of the end of World War 1.
In St. George, Royal Canadian Legion Branch 605, is hosting a Remembrance Day breakfast Saturday from 8-11, a barbeque from 5-7 and a variety show from 6-10.
An ecumenical worship service at the United Church Sunday morning at 9:30 precedes a Remembrance Day service at the Cenotaph at 10:30, followed by refreshments at Branch 605.
The Bells of Peace Initiative will take place at the United Church in St. George.
The church bell will be rung 100 times starting at 4:45.
In Paris, the Colour Parade will march from Broadway to Mechanic and end at the Cenotaph on Grand River Street North, for a service from 11 until Noon,
In Burford, starting at 10:30, the Colour Parade will march from the Legion, located at 6 Park Avenue to the Cenotaph located at 14 Park Avenue for a service, also from 11 until Noon.
