Brantford murder not a random act

An ongoing homicide Investigation is not believed to be a Random Act of Violence.

On April 5th, Brantford Police investigated a shooting on William St. When officers arrived at the scene, they found a male who was suffering from a gunshot wound.

The victim was transported to hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

Through investigation, the victim, 37-year-old Gerald Robert Male, and other persons at the residence where the shooting took place are believed to be known to each other and that this was not a random act of violence.  (Rob Curwain)
