City launches “Let’s Clear the Air” Awareness Campaign

You’ll no longer be able to light-up on City property.

Brantford has amended its Clean Air By-Law to prevent smoking or vaping at municipally-owned administrative buildings, including parking lots, Northridge and Arrowdale Golf Courses, recreation centres, sports facilities, parks and trails and sidewalks on City building property or within a public park.

Smoking or vaping is permitted on private property – subject to landowner policies and/or permissions and on sidewalks adjacent to a City street.

Those who don’t butt out could be hit with a maximum fine of $5,000.
