A Brantford man has been charged with manslaughter after another man died of a suspected fentanyl overdose.
Police responded to a Nelson Street address Friday night to help Brant paramedics with a suspected overdose.
A 46-year-old man was taken to hospital where he was subsequently pronounced dead.
Investigators found a man -who had several drugs in his possession, including suspected powdered fentanyl – in a Murray street parking lot last (Monday) night.
A 34-year-old man is charged with manslaughter, trafficking cocaine and fentanyl, four other drug-trafficking related charges and possession of property obtained by crime.
