Gas prices down another cent

Gas prices range from $1.16 to $1.30 a litre as of 4 0’clock this morning. The average price of $1.27 per litre is down a cent from Tuesday according to ontariogasprices.com

Brantford, Brant:  $1.17-$1.27

Hamilton: $1.17-$1.30

Burlington: $1.23-$1.27

Milton: $1.20-$1.27

Oakville: $1.18-$1.28

Kitchener-Waterloo: $1.20-$1.30

Cambridge:  $1.16-$1.28

Welland-Niagara Falls-Thorold-St. Catharines-Grimsby: $1.25-$1.30

Simcoe: $1.25

Dunnville: $1.25

Tillsonburg: $1.21

Woodstock: $1.19-$1.28

London: $1.16-$1.21

Benchmark U-S crude is down 64 cents this morning to 61.14 dollars U-S per barrel in electronic trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange.

The June contract gained 74 cents in trading yesterday to settle at 61.78 dollars.

The Canadian dollar is trading overseas this morning at 74.21 cents U-S, down three-100ths of a cent from yesterday’s average value of 74.24.

The S&P/TSX composite index closed up 91.12 points to 16,284.53.

In New York, the Dow Jones industrial average was up 207.06 points at 25,532.05.
