Gas prices unchanged

Gas prices range from 1.06 to $1.25 a litre as of 4:00 this morning.

Brantford, Brant: $1.06-$1.25

Hamilton: $1.10-$1.25

Burlington: $1.14-$1.25

Milton:  $1.20-$1.25

Oakville, Mississauga: $1.14-$1.25

Kitchener-Waterloo: $1.14-$1.25

Cambridge: $1.09-$1.25

Welland-Niagara Falls-Thorold-St. Catharines-Grimsby: $1.14-$1.25

Simcoe: $1.26

Dunnville: $1.20

Tillsonburg: $1.24

Woodstock: $1.13-$1.20

London: $1.12-$1.18

Benchmark U-S crude is down 30 cents this morning to $63.59 U-S per barrel in electronic trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange.

The May contract gained 31 cents in trading Friday to settle at $63.89.

The Canadian dollar dollar is trading overseas this morning at 74.99 cents U-S, down three -100ths of a cent from Friday’s average value of 75.02.

The S&P/TSX composite index closed up 81.06 points at 16,480.53, after reaching 16,487.14 shortly after the open.

In New York, the Dow Jones industrial average was up 269.25 points at 26,412.30.

The S&P 500 index was up 19.09 points at 2,907.41, while the Nasdaq composite was up 36.80 at 7,984.16.
