GEDSB hosting “Important, timely” social media session

Calling it “important and timely”, Grand Erie’s Parent Involvement Committee is hosting a social media and online safety information session.

Social media expert Paul Davis, who has more than 27 year of IT knowledge and experience with the board, will lead tonight’s “Social Networking and Online Safety” session.

The board says the presentation will cover cyberbullying, sexting, smartphones, digital trails, online security and other relevant topics.

The “What Parents Need to Know” session takes place at the Gord Paynter Theater at North Park Collegiate and Vocational School, starting at 6 0’clock.
