Hamilton crime unit taking over missing person’s case

The major crime unit has taken over the investigation into the disappearance of a Hamilton woman.

Monica Chisar was last seen by a friend in the Barton Street East and Parkdale Avenue North area.

Investigators say she has been missing since July 11th but her disappearance was reported by her family on September 28th.

Police say she “did not have much of a history in Hamilton,” but had a “wide circle of associates across the GTA” and also had a connection to Kitchener.

Chisar has green eyes and shoulder-length and reddish-brown hair.

She has a small star tattoo on the left side of her neck, a crown on her left wrist and tattoos on her upper back that read “Ethan” and “I love my daddy FC.”
