Naloxone saves two Milton teens

Halton Regional Police say they helped reverse an apparent overdose by two teens who thought they were smoking marijuana.

Officers responded to a call for two unconscious 18-year-olds outside a home in Milton yesterday afternoon.

Police say the teens assumed they were smoking cannabis, but lost consciousness and began having seizures.

Officers administered the overdose-reversing drug naloxone, and the two young men recovered.
