Gas prices range from $1.03 cents to about $1.17 cents a litre as of 4:30 this morning.

Burlington: $1.07-$1.17

Milton: $1.08-$1.17

Oakville: $1.08-$1.17

Kitchener-Waterloo:  $1.06-$1.17

Cambridge: $1.03-$1.17

Welland-Niagara Falls-Thorold-St. Catharines-Grimsby: $1.07-$1.13

Simcoe: $1.11

Caledonia: $1.07-$1.11

Woodstock: $1.10

Tillsonburg: $1.12

London: $1.01-$1.08

The Canadian dollar is trading overseas this morning at 75.81 cents U-S.

Canada’s main stock index lost ground as a further drop in the price of oil hurt the key energy sector.

The world price was down $1 at $60.67 per barrel.

The S&P/TSX composite index closed down 11.96 points to 15,357.47.

In New York, the Dow Jones industrial average gained 11.12 points to 26,191.42.

The S&P 500 index lost 7.05 points at 2,806.84, while the Nasdaq composite was down 39.87 points at 7,530.88.
