Oil prices still falling

Gas prices range from 99 cents to about $1.20 cents a litre as of 4:00 this morning.

Hamilton: $1.04-$1.20

Burlington/Milton/ Oakville: $1.08-$1.17

Kitchener-Waterloo:  $1.06-$1.17

Cambridge: $1.03-$1.17

Welland-Niagara Falls-Thorold-St. Catharines-Grimsby: $1.07-$1.14

Simcoe: $1.14

Delhi: $1.11

Caledonia: $1.07-$1.11

Woodstock: $1.14

Tillsonburg: $1.14

London: .99-$1.05

The world price of oil is down 54 cents at US$61.67 per barrel.

The Canadian Dollar is trading overseas this morning at 76.38 cents U-S.

North American markets closed higher on health-care stock gains on both sides of the border in the aftermath of the U-S mid-term elections.

The S&P/TSX composite index closed up 76.72 points to 15,369.43.

In New York, the Dow Jones industrial average was up 545.29 points at 26,180.30.

The S&P 500 index was up 58.44 points at 2,813.89, while the Nasdaq composite was up 194.79 points at 7,570.75
