OPP seek witnesses, suspects in Jerseyville Road fire

Provincial Police are asking for the public’s help to locate witnesses and suspects in a suspicious fire on Jerseyville Road.

A barn and truck were destroyed in the blaze just before 4:30 last Wednesday morning.

The barn stored equipment Todd and Lindsey Gallant use to run Colton’s Fun Farm and Pumpkin Patch.

Lost in the fire were a hay wagon, wooden games, a haunted mansion and four pygmy goats.

The Gallant’s had been running the non-profit farm in memory of their son, Colton, who died shortly after being born in 2010.

The Ontario Fire Marshal’s office is conducting a parallel investigation.
