If you have an old pair of skates you don’t need, then you might be able to bring a smile to someone’s face.
For the seventh consecutive year, Parks and Recreation and Public Library are holding a Skate Exchange Program until January 25th.
Since 2012, the city says more than 900 pairs of skates have been donated to those in need.
The skate exchange takes place every Friday from 4 to 5 0’clock at the library’s main branch on Colborne Street.
Skates can be dropped off at the library, Civic Centre, Doug Snooks Eagle Place Community Centre, Parks and Recreation Main Office, Lions Park/Steve Brown Sports Complex, T.B. Costain/SC Johnson Community Centre and Woodman Park Community Centre.
