Students looking to get ahead or to get back on track may want to look at Summer School.
The Grand Erie District School Board says students can earn a full credit, change to a different pathway, recover an unsuccessful course or improve marks at summer school starting in July.
In-class summer school locations for Grades 6-12 are hosted at BCI and Hagersville Secondary School and bus transportation is available for interested students.
The board says other opportunities include eLearning, co-op programs and dual credit courses and students receive the same credit value they would during the school year.
Reach ahead credits are available for Grade 7-8 students and. two-week or four-week literacy and numeracy courses are available for students in Grades 6-7.
Registration is completed through the student’s home school.
Summer school begins Tuesday, July 2 and ends Friday, July 26. For information, including registration forms, visit www.granderie.ca.
