Fatal crash in Caledonia

A young man is dead after a rollover crash in Caledonia. Haldimand County O-P-P say a car was southbound on highway 6 when, for an unknown reason, the driver lost control and the vehicle rolled and crashed into the ditch

Barrett wants Caledonia businesses, homes compensation

Haldimand-Norfolk M-P-P Toby Barrett has asked the province to compensate businesses and homeowners impacted by a blockade in Caledonia. In the Legislature, Barrett informed M-P-P’s the month-long blockade on Arygle street put “businesses and homeowners through psychological and economic hell.”

Highway 6 in Caledonia re-opens

Highway 6 in Caledonia has now re-opened. The road was blocked after protestors relocated a barricade from Arygle street to the area on Labour Day. Haldimand OPP say they worked with other agencies to clear debris and re-open the highway
