Tanking up? Oil prices climb

The price of gas ranges from $ 1.15-$1.32 a litre in our region as of 4:00 this morning from ontariogasprices.com.

Brantford: $1.23-$1.31

Hamilton:  $1.18-$1.32

Burlington: $1.20-$1.32

Milton: $1.15-$1.31

Oakville-Mississauga: $1.23-$1.31

Kitchener-Waterloo:  $1.23-$1.31

Cambridge: $1.17-$1.31

Welland-Niagara Falls-Thorold-St. Catharines-Grimsby: $1.26-$1.30

Simcoe: $1.20

Delhi: $1.23

Dunnville: $1.25

Hagersville, Caledonia: $1.26

Cayuga: $1.27

Tillsonburg, Woodstock and Ingersoll: $1.25.

The world price of oil is up $1.12 at US$70.37 per barrel.

And our dollar is trading overseas this morning at 76.97 cents U-S, up three-hundredths of a penny from yesterday’s average trading price.

The S&P/TSX composite index was down 47.31 points to 16,001.71.

In New York, the Dow Jones industrial average was up 147.07 points to 26,145.99.
