Tim’s introduces “Skip the Dishes App”

Yes, there’s an app for that.

Tim Hortons has launched food delivery with the Skip The Dishes app through 148 restaurants on Monday, saying it plans to expand to other cities if the test goes well.

It’s one of several initiatives the coffee-and-doughnut chain has been testing to combat an onslaught of negative publicity.

The company has been trying to fix its strained relationship with some franchisees — a battle that’s been playing out in public.

The app is initially being tested in Vancouver, Edmonton and Ottawa.
