Waterford school ransacked

Provincial police say they hope video surveillance will help identify the culprits who ransacked a Waterford elementary school.

Norfolk OPP say someone broke into St. Bernard’s school early on August 31st, and damaged desks, book shelves and trophies along with a large quantity of electronics.

Constable Ed Sanchuk says those responsible also attempted to rip a sink off the wall in one of the bathrooms, which flooded a portion of the school.

The principal’s office, staff room and kitchen area were also vandalized.
