City of Brantford Re-Opens Slowly

The city of Brantford will participate in re-opening the economy slowly and easing restrictions to certain public places.

“While I certainly understand that we all want to get back to our normal way of life, it’s very important we do this gradually and skillfully,” said Mayor Kevin Davis. “Unlike closing everything at once, reopening will be a step by step process to ensure that all the sacrifices and progress we’ve made to protect the health and safety of our community over the last two months isn’t wasted by a spike in cases caused by opening too quickly.”

This weekend, City Parks and Trails parking lots re-opened, however, all amenities stayed closed. Also the Disc Golf at Mohawk Park re-opened, following by Arrowdale Municipal Golf Course opening Wednesday, May 20th – Bookings only. The City is looking at other re-openings, however, the announcement will take place Thursday May 21st.
