Wild turkey strikes vehicle in Oxford County

A close call for a driver who collided with a wild turkey in Oxford County.

Provincial Police say the vehicle was heading east on Road 96 in Zorra Township when the wild turkey flew into the driver’s side of the windshield.

The driver, a 30-year-old man from London, was able to safely stop his vehicle without further incident and wasn’t injured in Saturday evening’s collision.
